A mainland establishment in Oman is an onshore setup, licensed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI). An onshore establishment is allowed permitted to conduct business in the local market as well as outside Oman without any restrictions.

Royal Decree 105/2020
The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones was established by the Royal Decree 105/2020 to oversee the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, Al Mazunah FZ, Salalah FZ, Sohar FZ and any other special economic zone or free zone. Each zone offers several incentives (including tax incentives), subject to specified conditions.
